Teen cited for narcotics, weapons before fatal crash

CONCORD, Calif.

According to Claycord.com, the teen suspect was apparently cited for narcotics and weapons violations by the Walnut Creek police just one week before that deadly April 7 crash. He was released earlier this month from the juvenile detention center.

The 17-year-old driver could face vehicular homicide charges, but the district attorney says they're waiting for all the evidence before filing charges. The teen is accused of hitting Solaiman Nuri and his young daughter as they rode their bikes home on a Saturday morning.

The family has set up a memorial fund at the Wells Fargo branch at 4599 Clayon Road in Concord for anyone who would like to make donations. Donations can be made to the Soliaman and Hadessa Nuri Memorial Fund (account number 3268148529) at any Wells Fargo branch.
