Officers served a search warrant on the home on Aileen Street on Friday and found the firearms inside. They included an illegal assault rifle, an illegal machine gun, three pistols, and illegal high-capacity ammunition magazines.
"We don't see magazines with this high-capacity. This holds 100 rounds. We do see them, but it's pretty rare, so this was quite a significant find to remove from our streets," Officer Johnna Watson said.
In addition to the firearms, officers also discovered 100 marijuana plants, dried marijuana, and electronics they believe were stolen. Investigators say the suspect is a convicted felon with a long criminal history.
