Three injured in two shootings in North Richmond

NORTH RICHMOND, Calif.

The sheriff's office got a call just after 9:30 a.m. reporting shots fired on the corner of First Street and West Grove Avenue, sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

Lee said at least two victims of that shooting have turned up at local hospitals.

A short time later, another shooting was reported in North Richmond. Lee did not have the location of that shooting but said there was one victim.

All three victims are expected to survive, he said.

The shootings are still under investigation and it is unclear whether they are related, Lee said.
