A spokesperson for the San Francisco Herb and Natural Food Company says the company is saddened by the infestation and has been cooperating with authorities since it was discovered.
The company, which sells and distributes bulk spices, herbs, teas and oils, has been under an embargo since July 11, which they say ensures no impacted goods were shipped.
The spokesperson says it has been working with the state Department of Health on the recall.
