The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday to discuss the latest report on the fire at Richmond's Chevron Refinery.

According to the Chronicle, Chevron reportedly considered replacing a corroded Richmond refinery pipe nearly a year ago, but then decided it was good for another five years.

The 8-inch pipe leak ignited into a massive fire last Monday sending large plumes of smoke into several neighborhoods.

Hundreds of residents were treated for respiratory problems and city officials say repairs to the refinery could take months.
