A San Francisco police officer has filed a civil rights suit against the city because he says the department doesn't like his off-duty hobby of nude photography.

Gared Hanson claims he was wrongfully suspended twice because of the pictures of naked women he posted online. The federal suit, filed in Oakland, names the city, Police Chief Greg Suhr, and his predecessor George Gascon as defendants.

Hanson is seeking unspecified damages and continues to work for the SFPD as a patrolman.
