Flash flooding almost cost a truck driver his life outside Phoenix Arizona.

His truck got stuck in the mud along a rising creek. The driver had to climb onto the roof when rushing water slowly washed the truck into mid stream.

A rescue team used an aerial ladder and ropes to secure the truck and driver, then rescued him by raft.

The operation took two hours. Thunderstorms dumped as much as two inches of rain on the Phoenix area Saturday.
