President Barack Obama says Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan get a failing grade on explaining how they'd pay for trillions of dollars in tax cuts.
"They couldn't answer questions about how they'd pay for $5 trillion in new tax cuts and $2 trillion in new defense spending without raising taxes on the middle class. That's not bold leadership, that's bad math," Obama said.
Romney attended church services with his family in Massachusetts. The businessman turned politician attacked the Obama administration's record when it comes to creating jobs.
"If this president is re-elected you're going to see chronic, high unemployment for another four years or longer," Romney said.
President Obama plans to come to the Bay Area for another fundraising swing on October 8.
The San Francisco Chronicle also reports it will resemble Mr. Obama's trip in February which included an event at the Nob Hill Masonic Center.
