Wells Fargo branch robbed, 2nd in less than a month

SAN JOSE, Calif.

Police said a suspect entered the Wells Fargo branch at 6465 Almaden Expressway around 2:30 p.m.

The suspect threatened the teller and demanded money, then fled, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

The robbery is the second such event to occur at a San Jose Wells Fargo branch in less than a month.

The afternoon bank robbery of a Wells Fargo Branch at 2061 Camden Ave. on Aug. 27--located seven miles away from the branch that was robbed Tuesday, prompted a lockdown of six nearby schools after two men entered the branch with guns and demanded cash.

Police arrested three suspects in connection with that case, including 20-year-old Aikili Mosley of Palmdale, 18-year-old Martel Charrod Williams of Los Angeles, and 22-year old Glenn William Johnson, also of Los Angeles.
