Steelers quarterback makes donation to OPD's K-9 unit

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is lending a hand to the Oakland Police Department.

Roethlisberger's foundation announced today that it is donating money to OPD's K-9 unit.

The department has been seeking financial assistance to purchase equipment for training and deployment of the dogs.

Roethlisberger's foundation is distributing grants to K-9 units in each city where the Steelers play this year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers come to Oakland this Sunday to play the Raiders.
