New research on mice may help women who are finding it difficult to conceive. Scientists have turned mouse skin cells into eggs that produced baby mice.

If successfully applied to humans, some experts believe the technique could help millions of women to replace damaged eggs.

Researchers at the University of Kyoto in Japan conducted the experiment. The study is published in the Journal Science.
