Lots of A's fans are enjoying an evening of tailgating and rooting on their team at home in the playoffs.

It's a big day for Bay Area baseball. Both the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A's are facing do-or-die games in their best-of-five division playoff series. The A's are playing the Detroit Tigers at the Oakland Coliseum. The Giants beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 in the 10th inning.

The A's were down two games in the series, but the fans weren't counting them out. If any team could pull this off, it would be the Amazing A's.

ABC7's Mike Shumann says this is the loosest, most fun group of players he's ever covered in a team sport. Despite the fact the A's are facing elimination tonight if they don't win, the players believe that they are going to have to take each game one at a time. They swept the Texas Rangers to get into the playoffs and win, lose or draw, these guys are going to have fun.

If the A's win, Game 4 will take place at the Coliseum starting around 6:30 p.m.
