The Oscar Grant case is in court again Monday. He was the unarmed Oakland man shot to death by BART police officer Johannes Mehserle at the Fruitvale BART station in 2009.

Attorneys for other officers involved in the shooting are appealing a federal judge's ruling that they are not immune from liability in the family's civil suit against BART. A jury found Mehserle guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
