The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Rrazz Entertainment, the company that runs the Rrazz Room cabaret at the Hotel Nikko, has filed a lawsuit in San Francisco Superior Court. It claims the hotel and its general manager wouldn't extend the club's lease because the shows were bringing too many African Americans into the hotel.
A spokesperson for Hotel Nikko says those claims are "untrue."
The venue is scheduled to close after a New Year's Eve concert.
