The Sonoma County sheriff announced Tueday that there was no foul play in the death of a man found last Friday at a recycling facility near Petaluma.

The coroner is still waiting for toxicology tests to determine exactly how Juan Gomez-Diaz died, but it appears he might have been crushed by compacting equipment on a recycling truck or at the facility.

Investigators suspect Diaz might have slept in a large, recycling bin to stay warm on a very cold night.
