The district attorney's office announced the case has been thoroughly investigated by police, and there's not enough evidence to charge Crabtree for the encounter with a woman at the W Hotel after the Niners beat the Green Bay Packers at Candlestick Park earlier this month.
Crabtree was never detained or arrested.
Investigators say Crabtree fully cooperated with the investigation. And as we've reported previously, sources say two other women who were there at the time told police the sex was consensual.
