A former graduate student in Pennsylvania is suing her school after she received a C-plus.

Megan Thode says the grade she received at Lehigh University for her internship kept her from getting her desired degree and from becoming a licensed therapist.

She needed a B to move on to the next class.

Thode is demanding that her grade be changed and is seeking $1.3 million in damages.

Her professor stands by the grade, saying Thode earned zero out of 25 points in class participation.
