Oakland police arrest two people after standoff

Oakland police arrested at least two people and recovered several guns when a standoff ended early Tuesday morning.

The standoff took place at 88th Avenue and 18th Street. It ended after 11 hours when a SWAT team served a search warrant about 3 a.m. The trouble began Monday afternoon, when police saw a shooting, but no one was hurt.

The investigation led officers to the home on 88th Avenue. The FBI and Alameda County Sheriff helped Oakland police.
