Thousands of runners hit streets for Rock-n-Roll SF Half Marathon

Thousands of runners took part in a new half-marathon in San Francisco Sunday morning.

The Inaugural Transamerica Rock 'n' Roll San Francisco Half Marathon began at 7 a.m. near Aquatic Park.

5,500 runners from 15 countries participated in the sold-out race.

Rock bands provided free entertainment at Aquatic Park after the race.
