So many officers showed up to show their support for the 5-year-old and her family that not all of them fit inside the auditorium.
"We tried to keep this to Daryl's squad and his precinct," the Phoenix Police Department wrote on its Facebook page. "But [once] the word got out that this was happening...there was absolutely no way that you could keep officers who could be here away from here."
Police found the car that hit and killed Raetz, but haven't made an arrest in the case.
