A 35-foot tree fell and blocked lanes on Lombard Street in San Francisco's Marina District early this morning, a Department of Public Works spokeswoman said.

The acacia tree fell at about 4:30 a.m. and blocked three westbound lanes on Lombard Street between Laguna and Buchanan streets, DPW spokeswoman Rachel Gordon said.

The tree also landed on the trunk of a Lexus.

No injuries were reported, Gordon said.

All of the lanes have now been reopened.
