There has been some unusual weather around the Bay Area as hundreds of lightning strikes hit the North Bay Monday.

Cal Fire battled several lightning sparked fires and crews remain on high alert. High winds are also to blame for toppling a tree in the East Bay Monday morning. The tree fell on Loveridge Road in Pittsburg.

Crews managed to push the tree out of the way of traffic just in time for the morning commute.
