Amputee boy swims with dolphin with prosthetic tail

CLEARWATER, Fla.

Cieran Kelso, 8, had both his legs amputated after coming down with meningitis when he was just 13-months-old. Cieran's father even designed special fins that let him swim.

Cieran dreamed of swimming with "Winter" the dolphin after seeing a movie called "Dolphin Tale." It tells the story of how Winter swims thanks to a prosthetic tail. They swam together during a surprise trip to America.

"The feeling was great. The feeling was emotional to be swimming with a dolphin and I love dolphins. But the most, best dolphin I've ever loved is Winter," said Cieran.

Cieran says when he grows up he'd like to work as Winter's caretaker at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
