Madeline Keeble was driving on the property of the Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach on Monday. She says she was trying to get around a water main break, but didn't realize how saturated the ground was. That's when her Smart Car began filling with water.
"I saw some water on the road and I saw the security officer in his car at the corner, and I made my turn and 20 seconds later I had water in my Smart Car up to my ears," said Keeble.
Keeble says a tow truck eventually pulled her car out the sinkhole. She says she's grateful she made it out of the car without a scratch.
