Members of the Cal State University East Bay softball team stopped by to say hello and dropped off a gift basket of goodies.
Officials say the 10-year-old girl was sleeping in her home around 2 a.m. Thursday when a stray bullet from drive-by shooting wounded her in the buttocks.
She's now able to eat and walk on her own.
Police found out she was a big softball fan and worked with the school to set up the visit.
