Biker in motorcycle attack paralyzed

NEW YORK

It started Sunday afternoon when the driver of a Range Rover got into an accident with a member of a motorcycle group.

Dozens of bikers surrounded the SUV and began slashing the tires.

The 33-year-old driver rammed through the crowd to get away, crushing the legs of one biker and hitting two others.

The bikers eventually caught up with the driver, pulled him out of the range rover and beat him, while his wife and young child looked on.

The family of one of the injured bikers spoke today, saying he's now paralyzed and in a coma.

The family is calling for the driver of the range rover to also be prosecuted.
