A 10-week-old gorilla at the San Francisco Zoo got a clean bill of health Friday.

The as-yet unnamed baby girl was examined by neonatologists from the University of California San Francisco. Zoo veterinarians admitted they didn't know much about caring for baby gorillas, so they called in the experts.

The baby, an endangered western lowland gorilla, was born at the zoo, a rare occurrence for gorillas in captivity. Her mom rejected the baby, but zookeepers are trying to get them back together.
