3.2-magnitude earthquake recorded near Berkeley

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Berkeley in Alameda County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor, which occurred at 1:07 a.m., was centered about 2.5 miles northeast of Berkeley and had a depth of 4.5 miles, according to the USGS.

There was a 2.7-magnitude aftershock that hit at 2:06 a.m. and a 2.6-magnitude earthquake that hit at 2:15 a.m. in the same area.
