Bay Area dentists are offering to buy back all that candy. Children can get a dollar for each pound they bring in. The goodies collected will be sent to U.S. troops overseas.
The Halloween candy buyback, starts at 4 p.m. It's happening at Alameda Pediatric Dentistry. There's an office on Whitehall Place in Alameda. The other is in Pleasanton on Cedarwood Lane.
