Harlem Globetrotter breaks world record for longest shot

PHOENIX

Corey "Thunder" Law's shot measured 109 feet and nine inches. It broke the previous record by five feet.

It wasn't easy, though.

Law and two teammates spent more than an hour at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, taking turns trying to make it.

Most of the time they didn't even come close.

An NBA court is 94 feet long, so Law was several rows back behind the court when he let it fly.
