However, volunteers say they need many more turkeys to make it happen.
Right now they have 7,000 frozen turkeys, but will need 12,000 to feed all of the families expected this year.
"I think because the economy is getting better, people don't really realize that the numbers of people who need food assistance are continuing to rise. So we're hoping the community can respond and come out and support us so we can feed our hungry neighbors," Caitlin kerk said.
