Salvation Army holds holiday tradition in Union Square

With red kettles and bells, the Salvation Army collected donations in San Francisco's Union Square.

ABC7 News traffic reporter Leyla Gulen helped raise money at San Francisco's Union Square Friday.

More than 100 people turned out to boost the Salvation Army's donations.

The red kettles and bells have now been in the Bay Area, where the bell ringing tradition began, for 123 holiday seasons.
