Police in Richmond are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those people who were involved in this shooting.
The 19-year-old's family says she's upbeat and staying positive despite concerns that a bullet lodged in her spinal area may have left her paralyzed.
Lori Romero is Dominque's mother, who is staying with an aunt in Concord to be closer to the hospital.
"They're saying paralyzed, we saw walk," Lori said. "She feels sensation in her legs, she feels little tingles in her legs when we touch them."
"She was sitting right here," said Dominque's sister. "My stepdad was sitting right there and it came in through right here."
She showed us where the bullets, two of them, came in through the wall.
Outside, police marked the area on the street where the casings landed.
"I don't know if it was two people against each other and my house is right in the middle of where they are at," Lori said. "I can't tell you that."
Richmond police say there is no connection with the family and the shooting.
Lori says the neighborhood is safe and has a school at the end of the street.
While police continue to investigate the bizarre incident, the family has received numerous calls and emails from people who want to help.

Her mother says Dominique was working hard to save money to buy presents for Christmas.
When this happened, the family was in the process of decorating the tree.
"I'm going to be with her," Lori said. "That's my Christmas gift, she's alive."
