Darryl Carter III was at the park at 7701 Krause St. attending a function and was waiting for his mother to pick him up, according to police spokeswoman Johnna Watson.
He was last seen in the computer room at the park center, and was reported missing around 3 p.m.
Watson says he was found shortly before 7 p.m. He has since been reunited with his mother.
Carter is new to the area and unfamiliar with his surrounding.
