As the virus spreads, more people are scrambling to get a flu shot.
In San Rafael, the Medical Center of Marin sponsored a free flu clinic on Saturday.
The event comes as some Bay Area hospitals and pharmacies are reporting a temporary vaccine shortage.
Walgreens, Kaiser Permanente and an urgent care clinic in Berkeley were running low Friday and waiting to get new supplies.
But, there was plenty of vaccine available at Saturday's flu clinic in San Rafael.
Greenbrae resident Chris Robine showed up with his twins.
"It was a great opportunity and that fact that they didn't have to get the flu shot, the kids were able to get the spray which was really the deciding factor for us to come out here," Robine said.
It's still not too late to get a flu shot.
Officials say it can reduce your chances of getting the virus by 50 to 70 percent.
