Man shot in San Francisco's Outer Mission expected to survive

San Francisco police are investigating a shooting that took place in the city's Outer Mission neighborhood early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the shooting at Mission and Concord streets around 3:40 a.m., Sgt. Eric O'Neal said.

Arriving officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, he said.

The victim, who was shot in the shoulder, back and arm, is expected to survive, O'Neal said.

No suspect information was immediately available and an investigation is ongoing, he said.
