Crews responded to a report of a fire at a home at Doolittle and Fairway drives at about 4:25 a.m., fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles said.
When crews arrived, the fire was fully involved on the first and second floors of the building, Knowles said.
All the residents at the home were out by the time crews arrived.
Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze by 5:20 a.m., according to officials.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The American Red Cross is assisting the residents with temporary housing.
