Former Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan says the city's new court appointed police leader is terrible for Oakland.

That's according to our media partner, the Oakland Tribune which spoke exclusively to Jordan. He says Robert Warshaw is so distrusted within the department that several police officials are concerned his authority will harm public safety and lead to more officers leaving for new jobs.

On Wednesday, a federal judge terminated the contract of OPD's compliance director after deciding to combine the powers of the compliance director with those of a court-appointed monitor.
