A Holland America Line cruise employee admits he raped a female passenger and tried to throw her overboard in the waters off of Honduras.
The woman escaped and was airlifted to a hospital in Florida.
The employee from Indonesia told the FBI he did it after the woman slighted him.
The cruise line says the suspect was hired in 2012, following a screening that included a clean criminal history check.
They say no incident like this has happened in the company's 140-year history.
