6.9 earthquake rattles Northern California

EUREKA, Calif.

The quake hit at 10:18 p.m., about 50 miles west of Eureka. The epicenter of the quake was about four miles beneath the Pacific Ocean.

There are no injuries reported related to the quake, but the shaking was felt along the far Northern California coast and Parts of Oregon, there are even some who felt it in the Bay Area and Southern California. More than 19 smaller aftershocks have been recorded.

There has been no tsunami watch or advisory.
