Steven Hayashi, 55, was found guilty of felony child endangerment, involuntary manslaughter and owning vicious animals.
Fiday's conviction comes four years after two-year old Jacob Bisbee was mauled to death. Prosecutors say Hayashi had ignored pleas from his family to remove the dogs which had previously killed a pet chihuahua.
Hayashi faces up to 10 years in prison.
