Fatal crash cleared from Hwy 101 in San Jose

All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose have reopened after a fatal collision this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to a report of a collision involving an overturned vehicle around 5:40 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 just south of Tully Road, CHP officials said.

The crash blocked the two right lanes of the highway. The lanes reopened as of about 8:45 a.m., according to the CHP.
