Orphaned bear cub left at Lake Tahoe rescue organization

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif.

She's been named Tahoe, but no one knows where she came from. She was somehow separated from her mother while still in her den.

Whoever had Tahoe probably didn't know how or what to feed her. She's been voraciously drinking up a special bear formula while being treated at the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care center. The goal now is to help Tahoe grow to about 85 or 90 pounds.

The rescue group says Tahoe is happy and healthy and may be able to return to the wild in about a year.
