In addition to the thousands of fans set to attend, there will be spots reserved for first responders who helped during the disaster.
Organizers said all of the money raised from the concert will go to the fire victims. The idea came about when some San Francisco heavy hitters were all talking about how they needed to do something for our neighbors in the North Bay. Some of those people include he heads of Tipping Point, Salesforce and the San Francisco Giants.
San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer said he'd be happy to host-all of the organizers and added their money would be put to good use.
Metallica is the headliner, with Dave Matthews being a big draw. Officials said the artists are donating their time and not getting paid.
Organizers said they hope to raise nearly $10 million dollars, but think they can double that amount.
So far, at least 38,000 tickets have been sold, and if you'd like to go there maybe some tickets left.
