Bay Area rainfall, Sierra snowpack running below average
Even though the Bay Area received a soaking over the weekend it still wasn't enough to push us into our normal amount for this time of year.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The region experienced a good soaking halfway through December with many cities recording a half an inch if not more than an inch of rainfall. It still wasn't enough to push the Bay Area to its' normal rainfall amounts for this time of the year.

Season to date, every city is running below average in rainfall for this time of the year.

In the Sierra, it is a similar story with the entire snowpack running below average as well.

Take a look at the latest Bay Area forecast.
