3 guns stolen from FBI car in Benicia neighborhood

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGO) -- The Sacramento FBI is searching for the people who stole three handguns and other items from federal agents in a residential Benicia neighborhood early Friday morning.

The break-in occurred early Friday morning and thieves took three guns, an FBI badge and credential and other property from a locked FBI vehicle. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the thief.

Kate Steinle was killed by a gun supposedly stolen from federal ranger's car in Downtown San Francisco.
