Chevron paying up to settle Richmond air quality violations
Chevron has agreed to pay $181,000 to settle air quality violations at its refinery in Richmond.

RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- Chevron has agreed to pay $181,000 to settle air quality violations at its refinery in Richmond.

The settlement announced today covers violations at Chevron's Richmond oil refinery in 2013 and 2014.

All settlement money will be used to fund the Bay Area Air Quality Management District's inspection and enforcement activities.

Chevron has yet to respond to a request for comment.
