Limo drivers needed for Super Bowl events
If you won't be on the sidelines at Super Bowl 50, you could help others get to the frontlines.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- If you won't be on the sidelines at Super Bowl 50, you could help others get to the frontlines.

A recruitment firm is on the hunt for hundreds of drivers to help chauffeur Super Bowl 50 players and VIPs.

"It's a great opportunity to rub elbows with some pretty interesting people," said John Skowronek, with Square One Solutions.

Square One Solutions is recruiting 300 drivers for Carey limousine. Carey is an international firm providing chauffeur services to the NFL.

"Part of the problem of lining up drivers months in advance as we've done in the past is, as it gets closer to the event, they've kind of forgot about it. You can't get a hold of them. Their phone numbers have changed," explained Skowronek.

The company has recruited about 35 drivers meaning there are more than 250 spots still available.

Square One Solutions requires an in-person interview, three year clean driving record, a seven year background check and a drug test. Drivers sign a non-disclosure agreement.

"We make it very clear that you don't post pictures on Facebook, you don't tweet about who you're driving around,' explained Skowronek.

The company pays $12.25 an hour, but it says drivers often make large gratuities.

"They're in it for the experience. They're in it for the service. They're in it to welcome people to San Francisco and tell them about the great city," said Skowronek.
