CALISTOGA, Calif. -- Police are investigating a Friday suspicious death in Calistoga.
Calistoga police and the fire department responded at 11:26 a.m. to a medical call about an unresponsive female at a Bed and Breakfast Inn in the 1400 block of Foothill Boulevard and located a 41-year-old woman deceased in an upstairs bedroom.
The woman had been staying at the inn with a man for the last two days, police said.
The circumstances surrounding the death were considered suspicious in nature, and the Calistoga Police Department requested the Napa County Major Crimes Task Force to assist with the investigation.
The Napa Police Department has taken the lead in the investigation and is being assisted by the Napa County Sheriff's Office, the Napa County District Attorney's Office and the Calistoga Police Department.
Police said there is no immediate threat to the community.
