Lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford 'accept' senate panel request to tell her story
Christine Blasey Ford's lawyers have accepted a request for her to testify to a senate panel about allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her at a party when they were teens.

WASHINGTON (KGO) -- Though Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a Bay Area professor, has agreed to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, a lot still needs to be worked out.

Blasey Ford's lawyers wrote to committee members saying they want to keep negotiating terms and are hopeful they can reach an agreement on details.

Blasey Ford's lawyers did not specify whether Blasey Ford was offering to speak in a public or private session. A date for the meeting has also not been confirmed.
